The Oakland Raiders are heading into the 2013 season with expectations of improvement from last year and after making final roster decisions heading into the first week, the team made some interesting choices, including keeping four quarterbacks, including Matt Flynn, Terrelle Pryor, Matt McGloin and Tyler Wilson.
The team liked what McGloin did during the preseason and he ended up moving ahead of Wilson, but the team did not want to waste a fourth round pick, which is why they likely kept him. The team could try and make a move with Wilson and they also kept two punters in Chris Kluwe and Marquette King and they also could try and trade one of those players as well since teams usually do not keep two punters.
Reggie McKenzie and Dennis Allen likely kept their most talented players regardless of position and now they move into the season with some weak spots at tight end as well as at running back behind Darren McFadden, with Rashad Jennings, Jeremy Stewart and Marcel Reece on the roster after putting Latavius Murray on the IR as a rookie.
