Manchester United Transfer Rumors: Everton Agree To Transfer Fee For Marouane Fellaini As David Moyes Plots David Luiz Transfer And Will Pay Chelsea £30m To Land Defender

Manchester United are understood to have had a £20m bid for Marouane Fellaini accepted by Everton according to various reports.

The deal has currently been unconfirmed by either club but it is believed to be worth an expected intial fee of £20m which will rise to £24m.

Former Everton boss David Moyes has been keen on Fellani, as well as left-back Leighton Baines, following him to United all summer, and now it appears that Moyes has fulfilled his goal of signing a major midfielder.

United are also making a move to buy Chelsea's Brazilian star David Luiz-and are willing to pay £30million for the defender.

Moyes hopes to snatch Luiz from under Jose Mourinho's eye with the thought to use him regularly as he plans to continue to make his push before the transfer window shuts at 11pm on Monday night.

Luiz has been a United priority for weeks with work on the deal being done behind the scenes - even while the west Londoners engaged in a very public pursuit of Reds striker Wayne Rooney.

United have already seen interest in Cesc Fabregas and Thiago Alcantara fail this summer as he looks to bolster his squad for the defence of their Premier League title.
