NFL Depth Charts and Starters Updates After 75-Man Roster Cut Deadline

Aug 27, 2013 03:27 PM EDT

The NFL roster world is on fire right now as teams make their final moves to get at the 75-man roster deadline for Tuesday at 4 PM and as teams make those moves, their depth charts heading into the season will look very different, including for a team like the Packers that just lost a starting running back to injury.

The Packers have a new depth chart after DuJuan Harris was injured for the season and now James Starks, Alex Green or Eddie Lacy could move to the top, meaning that Jonathan Franklin should move up as well. Harris will be out for the season, giving the rookies some more chances. The New England Patriots had some interesting roster moves, but none for Tim Tebow, who survived this set of cuts and could be facing another one when the team gets to 53 players on Saturday.

The Pats made moves to cut two undrafted rookies to get down to 75 and now the team has the chance to see what some players can do this week against the New York Giants in the preseason. The Cardinals signed Richard Quinn after he was cut from the Bengals after being a second round pick a few years ago and they made a couple moves to get under the limit as well.

The Raiders made moves to put players on IR to get themselves under and now they have a punting battle on their hands, as Chris Kluwe and Marquette King remained on the roster and it is likely that one will be cut before the final roster deadline on Saturday.

A number of other teams will have some big moves to consider and the Jets already made some, including cutting Joe McKnight as well as Braylon Edwards. The Redskins also cut a name player in Donte Stallworth and now those dudes will be looking for jobs.
