U.S. Open 2013 Live Stream: Watch Roger Federer vs. Grega Zemlja on Tuesday Free Online

Aug 27, 2013 03:14 PM EDT

Roger Federer (7), this generation's most successful tennis player, takes the tennis court as he looks to return to glory at Arthur Ashe Stadium. He hasn't won a championship at the U.S. Open since, but he's looking to change that before this year. His first test is Grega Zemlja. Check out the live stream as Federer and Zemlja hook up at Arthur Ashe Stadium Tuesday afternoon.

Federer vs. Zemlja will take place following Caroline Wozniaki's (6) match against Ying-Ying Duan. Federer has faced Zemlja twice in his career and defeated the Slovenian both times. They've played four sets and Federer has won all four of these sets. In fact, Federer has not lost more than three games in a set. They last met at Rotterdam in The Netherlands where Federer dispatched the No. 62 ranked Zemlja in the third round.

Zemlja might seem like an easy opponent, but Federer has lost to weaker opponents. For example, at Wimbledon, Federer was eliminated by No. 116 ranked Sergiy Stakhovsky in the second round. It seemed as though something was in the air in London during the second roun of that tournament since a lot of the top seeds were eliminated that day.

However, Federer is a five-time U.S. Open champion and he's a 15-year veteran. The 2013 U.S. Open will mark Federer's 14th tournament played in Queens, New York. Can he overcome the likes of guys like Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray and Novak Djokovic, who have each won a grand slam title this year.
