Aaron Hernandez was formally indicted on Thursday prior to his probable cause hearing in court and while his girlfriend Shayanna Jenkins may appear at the hearing to support him, she now knows that he won't be getting out of jail before his trail and possibly never again.

According to ABC News and ESPN.com, Hernandez will be formally indicted for the charges of murder in the Odin Lloyd case and he will be officially arraigned in court on Thursday at his scheduled hearing. Hernandez was originally supposed to appear in court in July for a probable cause hearing, but instead it was delayed so that lawyers could have more time to prepare evidence and present it to the grand jury.

Hernandez could be facing life in prison if convicted of the crime and he has been unable to get out on bail because the judge deemed him a flight risk since the chargers were so serious and he could have the means to do so. Hernandez was arrested for the murder soon after the body of Odin Lloyd was discovered less than a mile from his home in North Attleboro that he shares with Jenkins and now she could also be facing some issues after police believe that she may have tried to dispose of evidence.

Police searched a storage unit in her name to look for the murder weapon after they saw her on surveillance leaving the home the day after the murder with a bag that had a "rigid object" in it and then returning without it. Police did not seize anything from the unit and did not charge her with a crime, but if more comes out later on, they could change their minds. Hernandez and two accomplices, Carlos Ortiz and Ernest Wallace, are all behind bars for the murder and lawyers have argued that the former NFL star was the main orchestrator of the killing.

Ortiz has said to police that Hernandez stashed the guns from the night of the murder in the basement of his home, although police have yet to locate the murder weapon. Ortiz also said that Wallace admitted to him that Hernandez told him that he did the shooting. The police believe the murder weapon was a .45 caliber gun and it has yet to be located. Hernandez has been rumored to be connected to another double murder from last year, but so far police have not confirmed that and they have located the gun in that murder, which is a .38 caliber weapon.
