Houston Rockets guard Jeremy Lin recently spoke in front of a group of 20,000 at youth conference in Taipei, Taiwan and discussed the pressure he felt during his rise to fame, and after signing his big contract with the Rockets.

During the Linsanity phenomenon while on the New York Knicks, Lin recalled one particular game against the New Jersey Nets where he scored 25 points to be the turning point of his career.

"That game changed my life forever," Lin said.

Lin finished his Knicks career on a high note, and during that summer he signed a $25 million contract with the Rockets for the following season. Before the season begun, there was much expectation for Lin to be the cornerstone player.

"I was ready to invigorate the entire city of Houston ... I was supposed to save Houston basketball," he said.

Lin has had a pretty solid first year with the Rockets, averaging 13.4 points, 6.0 assists and 3.0 rebounds per game, while staying healthy without missing a game.

His best game of the season came in a loss to the San Antonio Spurs, with teammate James Harden sidelined with injury. Lin led the Rockets with 38 points and seven assists, reminding spectators that "Linsanity" is still a threat.
