The Houston Rockets have some international flavor when it comes to the franchise after having Yao Ming with the team for many years and now point guard Jeremy Lin has given a fresh injection as well, as he took a visit to his native Taiwan with center Dwight Howard.

According to CNA in Taiwan, Howard said he was excited to be visiting the country for the third time and also that he is looking forward to fishing with his teammate Jeremy Lin. Howard had a basketball camp and said that him and Lin previously met when the point guard came over in 2010 for a trip, which was before he broke out with the Knicks. Following that, he signed a three-year deal with the Rockets and later on during this offseason Howard joined in as well.

Howard was previously with the Lakers, but after that trade things did not go too well and now he is with the Rockets. Lin and the team have high expectations and the fans in Asia were thrilled to have both players there. Howard signed autographs for many fans waiting for him and he will do multiple promotional events as well as basketball camps for kids and Lin will also go to China, as will Howard.

The two players are doing an Asian tour and Howard will go to Chinese cities in Hangzhou, Chengdu and Beijing, while Lin will also be in China. The team just signed Ronnie Brewer and has one of the deepest benches in the West and now they have what they feel is a championship roster.
