Fantasy Football Advice 2013: Robert Griffin III, Ryan Mathews, Darren McFadden, Danny Amendola, Hakeem Nicks As RG3 Tops Comeback Players From Injury

The fantasy football season is filled with teams trying to get the leg up on one another and one way to do it is to look at players coming back from injury, as some owners will pass them up and this season names like Robert Griffin III, Ryan Mathews, Darren McFadden, Danny Amendola, Hakeem Nicks and Andre Johnson will be making comebacks.

Injuries can derail a season and here are some of the top players to watch this year as they come back from or are dealing with injuries heading into the season, including RG3, Darren McFadden, Rob Gronkowski, Andre Johnson, Danny Amendola, Hakeem Nicks and Ryan Mathews from the Chargers. All these players have dealt with a number of issues and the most important one to watch is Griffin, as he will not play in the preseason and everyone is wondering how he will look once he is back and fully healed up.

The Redskins are hoping that his knee holds up fine and after the way he looked in training camp it appears that he is fully back to health and this season he is expected to put up some big numbers after taking the league by storm and he could be one of the best fantasy quarterbacks if healthy. Maurice Jones-Drew is coming back from a foot injury and another running back that will have attention is Darren McFadden, as he is entering a contract year and the Raiders want to see if he can finally stay healthy.

McFadden hasn't played in more than 13 games in any season and he also has only rushed for over 1,000 yards one time. The Raiders are putting in a new blocking scheme this year that should open things up for him and adding Matt Flynn as well as a number of young rookies to the offense could give him more chances. The Raiders are dealing with some injuries up front and their success may hinge on whether he stays on the field or not.

The Giants need Hakeem Nicks back at full strength after getting Victor Cruz's deal done, as he has been their most explosive receiver and he opens up the field for Eli Manning. Amendola will have the same effect after Wes Welker left and he will need to step up even more now that Rob Gronkowski is coming back from yet another surgery.
