After winning his second consecutive championship and having had a relatively quiet summer, Miami Heat's LeBron James sat down with ABC's Robin Roberts to shed some light on his where his life is at this present time.

James chatted with the "Good Morning America" host in Akron Ohio to discuss his playing future, recent drug scandals in sports and his role models.

"I'm happy right now being in Miami. Hopefully everything works out" James said about his opt-out clause after the upcoming season. He didn't offer any hints about his next decision. As for steroids James called Alex Rodriguez's problems "a bad message" one that has a "direct effect on kids" that hope to be athletes.

When asked about his role models growing up James cited Michael Jordan who made a young LeBron want "to be able to fly in the air" and hit "game-winning shots."

With his happiness being in Miami, the eigning league MVP says he's motivated by the moves he's seen being made around the league during the offseason and he's prepared to defend his team's back-to-back titles.

"I've been back in the gym for a few weeks now, going at it," James said. "I've seen what so many teams have done to get better. I've seen the moves that we've made, so I've got to do my part."

After leading the Heat to a second straight NBA title, James took a brief break to run a high school All-American camp in Las Vegas, made an appearance at the ESPY Awards in Los Angeles and then toured China on marketing trip for Nike. The fun ended once rosters began to take shape
