Gareth Bale arrived to Tottenham's training ground Tuesday morning despite rumors and speculation that the Welshman wants out of the club.
Previous reports suggested that Bale was angry at comments made by Andre Villas-Boas that he wouldn't be sold, however, his agent Jonathan Barnett has denied speculation that Bale would stay away from training because of what the manager said.
Speculation is refusing to die down after Tottenham removed images of Bale and now departed Clint Dempsey from their official Twitter page, replacing them with Mousa Dembele and Aaron Lennon.
It was also reported that the Spurs were ready to sell their 24-year-old talisman if Real Madrid come up with a €100m plus Alvaro Morata offer, according to several newspapers. Morata was the top goalscorer in the recently concluded European under-21 Championships.
Real has placed a world record bid for Bale at €100m (£86m) in straight cash, but it hasn't been enough to sway Tottenham chairman, Daniel Levy, and they have indicated a readiness to offer players.
However, Real believe that Morata could be Spain's future No9 and their appreciation of him has been reflected in their efforts to secure him to a long-term deal with an enormous buy-out clause. Morata's contract expires in 2015.
In the meantime, Tottenham look to continue on with their other business as they look poised to break their transfer record for the second time this summer with the €30m (£26m) signing of Roberto Soldado from Valencia. They paid £17m for the midfielder Paulinho from Corinthians, which eclipsed their previous record outlay - the £16.5m spent to take Luka Modric from Dynamo Zagreb in 2008.
