Andy Murray takes the court at Wimbledon in the Men's Singles quarterfinals. He will face the unseeded Spaniard, Fernando Verdasco. If you can't watch the matchup, check out the live scoring updates of this pivotal matchup as the Scottish looks to make the semifinals and keep Great Britain's hope of a title alive.

Murray has won 12 straight sets at Wimbledon this year. The No. 2 seeded Murray defeated Benjamin Becker, Yen-Hsun Lu, Tommy Robredo (32) and Mikhail Youzhny (20) in the minimum three sets required, playing only one tiebreaker so far in the tournament.

His opponent, Verdasco, had a shaky start in the tournament as Xavier Malisse took him to four sets in the first round. However, Verdasco settled down and has yet to drop a set after the first round. He defeated Julien Benneteau, Ernests Gulbis and Kenny De Schepper in straight sets. This is the first time Verdasco has made the quarterfinals at Wimbledon in his 11 tournament appearances.

As for Murray, well, he's no stranger to quarterfinals matchups. In fact, he's advanced to his sixth consecutive quarterfinal at Wimbledon. It's the tournament the Scot looks forward to playing every year. He abandoned the French Open after finishing as the runner-up at the 2013 Australian Open.

It looked as though Murray was going to hit the court a little sooner than expected as Juan Martin del Potro took a nasty spill in his quarterfinals matchup against David Ferrer. However, he hung in there and took out Ferrer in straight sets. Del Potro will face Novak Djokovic in the Men's Singles Semifinals.

Murray will look to join one of them, but first, he has to get by Verdaso.
