The Aaron Hernandez murder case has wrapped up a number of people in the emotional turmoil of the investigation, including his fiance's sister Shanea, who was dating Lloyd, as she has been out of the public eye since the arrest.
According to Yahoo Sports, the funeral for Lloyd was held on Saturday in Dorchester and his family was very emotional, as were his Boston Bandits teammates. Boston Bandits general manager Mike Branch said that Lloyd was a good man and that he was hanging out with the wrong people and that is what his family also felt as they laid their friend to rest.
Lloyd's sister spoke in glowing terms about her brother and how he impacted her life and was visibly upset since his body was found in an industrial part shot to death. Hernandez has been arrested and charged with first degree murder in the crime and could face life in prison. Some reports have come out that Lloyd's death was tied to information he may have known about the deaths of Safiro Furtado and Daniel Abreu, which Hernandez is now being investigated for.

That double homicide took place last July in Boston and happened after Hernandez reportedly got into an altercation with the men at a nightclub. Hernandez was known to be at the club frequently and last year police knew he was there, but did not connect him with the crime until now. A silver or gray SUV did the drive by shooting on the two men and a car believed to be rented by Hernandez was impounded.
Hernandez requested a bail hearing but was denied due to the nature of the charges and he was painted as the executioner and orchestrator of the shooting. He was tied to the body by shell casings and gum and the lawyers also presented video and text messages as evidence tying him to the crime.
Hernandez starred at Florida, but he had issues there, now he is being looked at in connection with various other crimes, including the double murder. The tight end was considered one of the most exciting young players in the game and he combined with Rob Gronkowski to give the Patriots one of the most unique advantages in the game: tight ends that play like wide receivers. Now Hernandez is in jail where the inmates do not have weights to work out with.
