Aaron Hernandez Jerseys Selling On eBay As Fans Take To Twitter To Support Patriots Star's Innocence, Will Fiance Shayanna Jenkins Work With Police and Prosecutors?

The Aaron Hernandez murder case has not only affected the former Patriots player and his family, as the NFL and the team have stopped selling his jersey and other memorabilia, which has sparked fans into a frenzy on eBay as people try to make a profit.

According to Pro Football Talk, Hernandez's jersey has come up on the website for over $200 and this comes after the team said that people could come and trade in their jerseys for others. The Patriots released the tight end after he was arrested and while some sellers don't see why people would want it, fans are buying the jerseys on eBay since he was charged with first degree murder.

People have taken to Twitter as well to proclaim his innocence and his girlfriend Shayanna Jenkins may be asked to work with police on the case. She previously was talking to police and authorities before being told to stop by Hernandez and now he could be facing further charges, including for a double murder in Boston last year. New reports have come out that Odin Lloyd was killed due to knowledge of Hernandez's past crimes, but more information is being looked at by police.

"I can't think of any reason why people would want it," Lynn L'Heureux said. "They might think it will go up in value later on, and maybe it will, but I'm not interested. I just don't want it in my possession. I want to use the money to buy a jersey that reflects my pride in the Patriots."
