Wimbledon 2013 has taken another turn as Women's Singles's No. 1 seed Serena Williams was upset by Sabine Lisicki in the fourth round of this grand slam tournament. Lisicki, the 23rd seed in the tournament, went through a roller coaster ride in this match. She won the first set easily and then dropped the second set before going on to finish in dominant fashion when it mattered most. The final score was 6-2, 1-6, 6-4.

What the box score won't show is that Williams had a chance to take the lead late in the set. However, Lisicki broke Williams twice to take a 5-4 lead. She eventually closed out the match and proceeded to fall face first on the grass at Wimbledon.

Following the match, Lisicki was speechless, "I'm so happy," said the 23-year-old German. Lisicki was thankful for the fan's support and admitted that she loved playing on this court. Her record proves she's been successful, not only at Wimbledon, against versus top ranked players. Lisicki improved her career record against former French Open champions to 4-0. In the past, Lisicki defeated Svetlana Kuznetsova, Na Li, Maria Sharapova and now, Williams.

For Williams, it was a crushing defeat as she lacked typical Williams confidence in this match, playing cautious tennis. As a result, Williams' win streak of 34 consecutive tennis match ended and she will not have the chance to repeat as the Wimbledon champion, following her championship at Roland Garros.

Who's up next against Lisicki in the quarterfinals?

Well, she's not even thinking about it. When asked about her next opponent, Lisicki simply responded, "I'm not thinking about that yet." Though she won't be celebrating, she was too happy to worry about the next round at Wimbledon.

Up ahead in the quarterfinals, Lisicki will face Kaei Kanepi, who is unseeded and hails from Estonia. The ladies will battle for a semifinals appearance and a chance to be crowned the 2013 Wimbledon champion.
