Wimbledon 2013 Bracket: Matchups in 4th Round of Men's Singles as Only 16 Players Left in Tournament

Jun 29, 2013 07:42 PM EDT

The 2013 Wimbledon tournament is entering the fourth round and though there have been a lot of pivotal eliminations, here are the remaining 16 players as the tournament gets ready to head into the quarterfinals.

Novak Djokovic (1) vs. Tommy Haas (13)
The two recently met at the 2013 French Open. Djokovic eliminated Haas in the quarterfinals of that tournament, improving Djokovic's record against the German to 5-3. Though Djokovic has the better head-to-head record, Haas defeated Djokovic in Miami earlier in the season. For Djokovic, the competition at Wimbledon is thin as Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal are no longer in the tournament. The crowd favorite, Andy Murray is the toughest competitor remaining in the tournament that can prevent Djokovic from winning his second career Wimbledon tournament.

Andy Murray (2) vs. Mikhail Youzhny
Murray has been cruising at Wimbledon. He has shown no signs of succumbing to pressure as Murray knows he has a better chance of winning the tournament. Federer is most dominant at Wimbledon and Murray finished runner-up last year because the Swiss won the tournament. Youzhny and Murray have met twice before with the Scottish winning both meetings. However, this was years ago as they last met in 2009 in Valencia.

David Ferrer (4) vs. Ivan Dodig
Ferrer has proven himself to be a force in grand slam tournaments. He is looking to make his seventh straight quarterfinal appearance at a major and Dodig is the only thing standing in his way. Ferrer is coming of a French Open Finals appearance, where he finished runner-up. Ferrer is still chasing after his first, illustrious grand slam title.

Tomas Berdych (7) vs. Bernard Tomic
Berdych is one of the few Top 10 players remaining in Men's Singles.  He's making a strong run at 2013 Wimbledon after exiting last year's tournament in the first round. Tomic is fresh off a match where he eliminated the Men's Singles No. 9 seed Richard Gasquet. Tomic entered the tournament unseeded and he will be looking to stun Berdych during the quarterfinals at the All English Club.

Juan Martin del Potro (8) vs. Andreas Seppi (23)
Del Potro has breezed through the tournament as he has yet to drop a set through the first three matches at Wimbledon. Seppi is lucky to be in the fourth round at Wimbledon. He defeated the No. 12 seeded Kei Nishikora after five tough sets. Del Potro will be looking to advance to his first quarterfinals at Wimbledon.

Here are the rest of the matchups remaining at Wimbledon.

Lukasz Kubot vs. Adrian Mannarino
Jerzy Janowicz vs. Jurgen Melzer
Fernando Verdasco vs. Kenny De Schepper
