Aaron Hernandez is currently awaiting trial behind bars after being denied bail for the second time and while his girlfriend Shayanna Jenkins was in the courtroom, her sister Shanea, who was dating Odin Lloyd at the time of his death, was not.

There is not too much information out there on Shanea, but it has been reported that she is younger than her sister by three years and that she was dating Lloyd for some time. Hernandez was connected to Lloyd through the relationship and at his bail hearing and arraignment details in the case came out, including that Hernandez and Lloyd were seen together the night of the murder.

Reports also came out about texts Lloyd sent to his sister, which at first were mistakenly reported to have went to Shanea. Lloyd's body was found a mile from Hernandez's home with gunshot wounds and the lawyers described it as an execution and that the tight end was the orchestrator. The Patriots released him and he has already lost numerous endorsements, now he has to face the prospect of life in prison while waiting for the trial. He faces five gun charges as well as first degree murder and he is linked to the case through shell casings found at the scene.

Lawyers said that they had video evidence of him with a gun and returning to his home just after the murder and he now is also being investigated in connection with another double murder from last year. Police impounded his car and also searched his home and other residence again in connection with the original murder and that case as well. Reports say that Lloyd may have known something about that case and that the murder stemmed from an incident in a nightclub where he talked to the wrong people and may have disrespected Hernandez.

Shanea Jenkins at first could not be found after Hernandez was arrested and police were worried before finding her. She attended Bristol Central High School with her sister and Hernandez and she also went to Tunxis Community College and has yet to talk about the murder. She has another younger sibling as well.
