Chicago Blackhawks' Michael Frolik (67) celebrates with teammates Niklas Hjalmarsson (4), Marcus Kruger (R) and goal scorer Dave Bolland after an empty net goal against the Boston Bruins during the third period in Game 5 of their NHL Stanley Cup Finals hockey series in Chicago, Illinois, June 22."

The Chicago Blackhawks are now just one game away from the Stanley Cup for the second time in four season after winning 3-1 in Game 5 and now the series shifts back to Boston to see if the Bruins can overcome the loss to tie things at 3-3.

Patrick Kane scored two goals in the game for Chicago, while Dave Bolland added an empty net goal for the 3-1 victory, but both teams lost out in the matchup, as Jonathan Toews and Patrice Bergeron were both injured and may miss the next game. Zdeno Chara scored the lone goal for the Bruins and Tuukka Rask had 29 saves in the game against Corey Crawford, who had 24 saves. Bergeron was taken to the hospital after getting injured and while he was discharged, his status is in question going forward.

The Blackhawks scored one goal in each period and now they may have to go along without their captain in Toews and that could take away scoring chances for Kane, who has been on fire lately. Both teams will be without firepower with Bergeron and Toews and both teams need to make sure they recover from those injuries. The next game could give the Hawks the Cup and the Bruins will have to win two games in a row to get things done.

The Blackhawks were the first team in the series to win two games in a row and after the 6-5 overtime win for Chicago, the team has all the momentum and is just one win away from the Cup. Bergeron has been one of the best and most consistent players for Boston and they have to be worried about scoring going forward. It'll also give David Krejci the chance to get back into a groove after being the best scorer for Boston heading into the series, but the Bruins will need to recover quickly.

The Blackhawks opened the season on a record streak and came into the series with some momentum and now they need just one win to get the championship. Boston has proven they have no issues about coming from behind, as they were down 4-1 in the third period and came back to force overtime against the Maple Leafs in the first round before winning in Game 7. Boston will have to rally from behind again and down 3-2 they will have to win one game on the road in Chicago and while both teams will be missing key players, Boston is the team needed some luck, as they have to win the next two games to take the Cup.
