The2013 NBA Finals MVP was awarded to LeBron James. James put up another amazing performance in Game 7, hitting crucial shots when they mattered most.

No shot came bigger than his jumper with 27.9 seconds remaining as the Heat led 90-88. The jumper gave the Heat enough breathing space to pressure the Spurs offense. James also had a great night from beyond the arc as the Spurs decided to back off, allowing him to shoot the jumper all night long.

James went 5-10 from beyond the arc, aiding his scoring total. James took over the second and third quarters scoring a total of 24 points. James finished with a double-double, grabbing 12 rebounds and adding 4 assists to cap his night.

As James was present on the offensive end, he made a huge impact on the defensive end as well. With under 24 seconds left in the game and Manu Ginobili driving to the basket, James defended the big man, Tim Duncan, and grabbed a lob headed towards the Spurs' center. It was one of two steals James had in the game.

James scored a total of 69 points in the final two games when the Heat needed him the most. The MVP honors would have probably gone to Danny Green had the Spurs won the championship, but Green was nowhere to be found in the final two games of the series. James finished with two triple-doubles in this series, the first coming in a losing effort in Game 1.

Now, James and the Heat can breath easy. The Heat won their second championship with the Big 3 and their second consecutive championship with the Big 3 and if they retain everyone for 2014, the Heat will once again be the favorite to win it all as they have the best basketball player in the world. It's the second straight championship for the Heat and James' second straight NBA Finals MVP award.
