The New York Mets and Atlanta Braves are currently on two different paths with their season. New York has lost the last 10 of 12 games prior to earning a walk-off win on Sunday. They currently sit in fourth place in the NL East while the Braves sit comfortably at the top with a 13 ½ game lead over New York. The Mets cannot seem to find their footing with the braves lately. Atlanta is hitting .328 with runners in scoring position and 24 home runs while taking the last 15 of 19 games against New York.

Atlanta looks to keep the hot streak going at Turner Field. They have a major league-best 23-8 record when at home with a 2.32 ERA. They have won 15 of their last 18 home games. Tim Hudson will get the start for the Braves who is 0-2 with a 1.66 ERA in three starts in June. He gave up three runs and five hits in Tuesday's start. Hudson hopes to regroup at home where he is 3-0 with a 2.39 ERA in six starts.

The Mets will counter with Dillon Gee who is 5-6 with a 4.84 ERA on the season. He has been dealing with tendinitis in his elbow, making consistency an issue. He started the season with a three-start win streak, posting a 1.29 ERA and 26 strikeouts in 21 innings. Since then he has not looked good. He has especially struggled lately against Altanta. Gee is 1-2 with a 5.60 ERA in five starts against the Braves. Jason Heyward is 7 for 15 against the pitcher.
