The sports world is ready for some big events on Sunday for Father's Day 2013, as the U.S. Open enters its final round with Phil Mickelson in the lead as the only player under par in the field, while the San Antonio Spurs and Miami Heat are locked in a 2-2 Finals series with Game 5 Sunday night.

LeBron James and the Big three of Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade played much better in Game 4 and now they have tied the series to take back home court advantage with two of the next three games coming in Miami and at least one back in Florida depending on what happens Sunday night. The Spurs took a big mathematical advantage with the Game 3 win, but James and company stormed back to take the momentum away from the Spurs and now it is a best of three for the championship and with Tony Parker dealing with a bad hamstring, it could be tough for him to play his best.

The game will be on ABC at 8, while the U.S. Open has coverage on NBC for the final round as Phil Mickelson chases his first ever US Open championship after coming in second place five times in his career by a total of nine strokes. Heading into the major at Merion, all the attention was on the pairing of Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy and Adam Scott in a group, but all three have faltered and Woods is not in contention on the final day, while Mickelson is tops over Charl Schwartzel and Hunter Mahan as well as Steve Stricker, while Justin Rose and Luke Donald are in contention with Jason Day and Rickie Fowler just outside.

There is a ton of baseball going on for Father's day, as the Yankees and Angels are playing in the afternoon, while some other games include the Phillies and Rockies, Blue Jays and Rangers, Astros and White Sox as well as Dbacks and Padres after the Arizona Dodgers brawl. The Mariners have taken two of three from the Athletics, while the Giants and Braves are playing on Sunday night for the big day. Other games include the Cubs and Mets, Red Sox and Orioles, Cardinals and Marlins as well as the Royals and Rays. Early games include the Nationals and Indians as well as the Brewers and Reds.

NASCAR is in Michigan on Sunday, while tennis has the Aegon Championships with Andy Murray after Roger Federer won his first title of the year. The basketball game is the big story, but if Phil Mickelson can win his first US Open, he will take some headlines and some attention.
