Liverpool goalkeeper Pepe Reina's agent insisted his client has no plans of leaving Anfield and signing for either Barcelona or Napoli, while Martin Skrtel's representative also played down reports of a move to link up with former manager Rafa Benitez in Naples.

Reina's future has been up in the air for a while now, with reports suggesting Barcelona could make a move if Victor Valdes leaves the club in the summer.

The Spanish international has also been linked with a move to Napoli, where Benitez has been appointed the new manager.

However, the player's representative Manuel Garcia Quilon denied talks have been held over a summer move away for his client.

"Reina has been clear in recent days his thoughts, his future is still at Liverpool," Garcia Quilon told tuttomercatoweb.com

"At the moment there are no chances for Napoli and Barcelona.

"Pepe considers Benitez a great coach but his future will still be at Anfield."

Skrtel is another player whose future is yet to be decided, with the defender, the club player of the 2011-2012 season, having to make do with a place on the bench for much of last season under Brendan Rodgers.

The Slovakian has also been linked with a reunion with Benitez, but his agent Karol Csonto said the defender's future would be decided once he talks with the club hierarchy next week.

"There has been no contact between the two clubs," he told Italian radio station Radio CRC. "Martin has a contract with Liverpool and it is important to honor that.

"Obviously Napoli know Martin well, but there cannot be any contact between us and them if they do not first reach an agreement with Liverpool.

"Between Martin Skrtel and Rafa Benitez is a professional relationship that has gone on from the years they spent together at Liverpool.

"(Napoli player) Marek Hamsik and Skrtel are very good friends and they met last week.

"The midfielder requested information from Martin about Benitez, while Skrtel has asked questions about Napoli.

"But I think that if Napoli want to take Skrtel, they should first talk to Liverpool.

"I will be in England next week to talk with Liverpool and define Martin's future."
