Arsenal Transfer News: Jovetic: I Want to Leave Fiorentina in the Summer Transfer Window

Arsenal target Stevan Jovetic said he is determined to leave Fiorentina in the summer, while admitting he would love a move to Juventus or the English Premier League.

Jovetic was considered to be Arsenal's No.1 target in the summer, with the likes of Juventus and Chelsea also looking to bring in the talented forward to their clubs in the summer transfer window.

The Gunners are reportedly unwilling to match Fiorentina's demands of €30 million (£25.5 million, $39.5 million), and have reportedly shifted their attention towards Real Madrid striker Gonzalo Higuain, who is also interesting Juventus.

New Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly a big fan of Jovetic as well and it looks only a matter of time before the 23-year-old switches clubs.

"I've been at Fiorentina from 2008, five very intense seasons," the Montenegro international said.

"I really feel like I've given everything. I'm young and ambitious and it is normal to feel the need to test myself elsewhere. I do not think there's anything wrong with desire.

"Florence and the Viola fans have always asked me to be upfront: so here it is. I need stimulation elsewhere, I need to devote myself in a top club. I've played in Europe with Fiorentina, now I want to win in Europe."

Jovetic, who scored 13 goals in 31 league games last season, said he was flattered by the interest shown by Juventus, but added he would have no problems in moving to the Premier League or indeed La Liga.

"For a year they (Juventus) have said they want me," he added.

"I come before (Zlatan) Ibrahimovic, (Carlos) Tevez and (Gonzalo) Higuain in their list. Who would not be flattered?

"With (Juve manager Antonio) Conte I feel that I could continue to grow. I think the feeling is mutual.

"But the Premier League is also fantastic championship, as is La Liga. I have some opportunities so we'll see."
