The Hulk-to-Chelsea transfer saga Part II is in full flow after the Brazilian forward confirmed interest from the Blues for a move in the summer transfer window.

Reports suggested Jose Mourinho had identified Hulk as the ideal candidate to add firepower to the forward line, with the Portuguese making a £35 million ($54 million) offer to Zenit St. Petersburg.

Hulk is thought to be unsettled in Russia and is desperate to switch to the English Premier League after third party ownership crushed those dreams last summer.

Zenit are also reportedly seriously considering selling the 26-year-old with the move not quite working out for both parties as they would have envisaged.

However, Zenit are expected to hold out for more than £35 million ($54 million) - the Russian side paid nearly £50 million ($78 million) to bring him from Porto last season -- so it looks like there could a lot more legs yet before the saga is completed either way.

Hulk, in Brazil for the Confederations Cup, admitted there was interest from Chelsea, but currently wants to focus on helping Brazil to the title.

"If I said there was not anything in it (Chelsea interest), I would be lying," he told Globo Esporte.

"But that is not for now. I am 100 percent focused on the national team at the moment.

"I came to wear this (Brazil) shirt with pride. My family and my friends are following me. I hope to win the Confederations Cup."

With Chelsea losing out on Radamel Falcao to Monaco, and Edinson Cavani looking likely to move to Manchester City, Mourinho will be keen to add a striker to his ranks.

Whether it is Hulk or someone like Mario Gomez or Edin Dzeko, only time will tell.
