If this move goes through, then David Moyes will certainly begin his tenure as Manchester United manager on an exciting note. United are reportedly lining up a sensational four-player swap deal with Juventus in the summer transfer window.
Javier Hernandez and Nani are the ones being considered to be sold to Juve with the Italian champions offering Claudio Marchisio and Mirko Vucinic, according to Tutto Mercato.
United are in need of a box-to-box midfielder and Marchisio fits the bill perfectly. The Italian international has been linked with a move to United for a while now, so the interest is definitely there from the confines of Old Trafford.
Marchisio, though, is a Juventus player through and through and has reaffirmed his commitment to the club on a few occasions; so it remains to be seen whether the club and then the player would be open to a move.
Vucinic is also a name that has been mentioned with United in the past and the Montenegro international does have the capabilities of striking up a good partnership with Robin Van Persie up front.
Nani is expected to leave United in the summer, with the Portuguese winger's contract expiring in 2014 and a new deal far from being agreed upon.
Javier Hernandez has been a success story for the English Premier League champions, but the Mexican international could be tempted by the prospect of more playing time at Juve.
The Italians are in the market for a striker, with Gonzalo Higuain, Stevan Jovetic and Carlos Tevez heavily linked in recent weeks.
With Wayne Rooney asking to leave the club, though, it is unlikely that United will let go of Hernandez, who is bound to get more playing time following the departure of the England international.
However, with Vucinic, even if it is not a like-for-like replacement, United would be getting a forward in place of the Mexican international.
Nani is another player who has been on the radar of the club, and the Portugal international will certainly fancy a move to Turin, although wages could be a stumbling block.
While the deal has a certain pleasing element to it for both sides, it is highly unlikely to happen, with such a complicated move extremely difficult to pull off.
