Tim Tebow Could Set NFL Record By Never Starting Again After Denver Broncos Playoff Victory As Anti-Tebow Jacksonville Jaguars Website Hates On Quarterback

Tim Tebow mania is one reason why the former New York Jets and Denver Broncos quarterback is unemployed and based on the way Jacksonville Jaguars fans are treating him it will likely stay that way, which could mean that the quarterback could set a new NFL precedent.

According to the Denver Post, if Tebow never starts another game in the NFL he would become just the second quarterback to start and win a playoff game and then never start another game while active. Tebow won a playoff game in the 2011 season against the Pittsburgh Steelers and so far has yet to start a game and it appears as though no team will give him that shot.

The report says that Bob Lee is the last player to do such a feat, as he started for the Vikings when they defeated the Los Angeles Rams in the playoffs in 1977. According to Elias Sports Bureau, Lee was 5-of-10 for 57 yards in the game and after starting 29 games over his 12 year career he never started another game while serving as a backup in the league.

Tebow still has plenty of time for this record to go by the wayside, but the way teams have been treating him so far shows that it is a real possibility. The Jaguars were one team that seemed like a good fit, but David Caldwell has said the team will not pick him up and a quote he said earlier in the year spawned a new website made by fans to be Anti-Tebow, called "EvenIfHeIsReleased.com."

The website was made to counter some of the pro-Tebow media hype, including a plea petition from fans on the White House website and another ad taken by an area lawyer calling for him to be signed. Tebow started and won that playoff game by throwing for 316 yards and the game winning touchdown in the 29-23 overtime win and after the season he was traded to the Jets.

New York never gave him a chance to start and they could not figure out a way to use him and now he is left figuring out what to do with himself next.
