The Los Angeles Kings are doing everything they can to defend their Stanley Cup title and the St. Louis Blues are doing everything they can to prevent it. With the series now tied at 2-2, they will move into a best-of-three mindset in hopes of moving on to the second round. The Kings dominated Game 4 in order to tie things up and have the momentum heading into Game 5. Los Angeles' goal is to keep playing fast in physical in hopes of wearing down the Blues players.

The Blues will have home-ice advantage for Game 5 after having a day to recharge themselves. The home team has won every game in this series, which bodes well for St. Louis. The Blues have won eight in a row at home dating back to the regular season. They allowed one goal in each game. The Kings on the other hand have dropped eight in a row on the road, leaving them vulnerable for Wednesday night.

Last year, the King became the first No. 8 seed to win the Stanley Cup. They trailed in the third period only once on their way to the Stanley Cup. With virtually the same roster as last season, this year's team will have to go about winning a different way. They were able to shake off a deficit in Game 4 to score twice in the third period to gain the lead. They finished out shooting St. Louis 23-10.

In those final minutes, the Blues fell apart with sloppy play. They got burned on multiple 3-on-1 breaks and out skated, leaving Brian Elliott alone to defend the goal. Anze Kopitar was able to break out a 19-game goal drought and now has plenty of momentum heading into Game 5.

This are only getting more interesting in the Western Conference. These two teams will not let the other get the best of them as it is now anyone's game.
