The New York Knicks take on the Boston Celtics in Game 5 of their best of seven series in the first round of the NBA Playoffs. Check out the live streaming action online, for free, as the Knicks try to put away the Celtics in Madison Square Garden. Tipoff is at 7 p.m. ET, let's see what's in store.

First off, the good news for the Knicks is that J.R. Smith is back in action after serving a one-game suspension which saw him sit out Game 4. The Knicks could have used his help as Raymond Felton and Carmelo Anthony had to basically score everything for New York in this game.

The Celtics got solid contributions from Jason Terry and as usual, Paul Pierce carried the load for Boston as they eventually won Game 4 in overtime, 97-90.

Note: If Terry doesn't want to look ridiculous for getting a leprechaun tattooed on his forearm carying the Larry O'Brien trophy, he better score at least 30 in this game as the Knicks will look to put the series away in their home arena, MSG.

In eight games played this season between these two historic franchises, the Knicks have won six of their meetings. 2013 is all about the Knicks and they can get proper vengeance tonight for what they suffered against the Celtics two years ago in the playoffs. You can count on Anthony to come out shooting as he will immediately look to get the crowd behind him in this pivotal Game 5.

Basically, you can say this series is over as the Knicks don't necessarily have to close at the series here in Game 5. The Knicks are more than capable of beating the Celtics in Boston as they almost did twice in Game 3 and 4. The Celtics have all the pressure in the world, but there's only so much they can do.
