Tyler Wilson is the newest quarterback in the stable for the Oakland Raiders and the former Arkansas star got the call from the team that he was drafted while shopping in Walmart back home in Arkansas.

According to NFL.com, Wilson was at a Walmart Supercenter, in Greenwood when a fan asked him for a picture, at that moment, the Raiders called and told him that they were about to select him with their fourth round pick. The report says that Wilson said that everyone in the store knew what was going on after the conversation went down and Wilson then went and celebrated afterwards with his family. He had a party on Friday, but he made it through the third round without getting picked.

Wilson joins Matt Flynn and Terrelle Pryor and the Raiders were on team that many felt would take a quarterback. The team traded away Carson Palmer during the offseason and acquired Matt Flynn from the Seahawks and despite the fact that the team liked Terrelle Pryor, Wilson will likely get a chance to start.

He was excellent two years ago for Arkansas and had a tough season last year following the firing of Bobby Petrino and the team regressed.

"(The guy was) standing right next to me and kind of hears the conversation a little bit," Wilson told the Log Cabin Democrat on Saturday. "I kind felt like everybody in the store at that point had kind of figured out what's going on. That was fun. We ended up getting out of there without too much harm and ended up getting back and celebrated with friends and family."
