Mumbai Indians will look to press ahead with their momentum in IPL 2013 when they host Kings XI Punjab, who are desperate to bounce back from their defeat to the Kolkata Knight Riders.

The Wankhede Stadium witnessed a run-fest in the last game with Mumbai Indians posting a total nearing 200, before restricting the dangerous Royal Challengers Bangalore to under 140 on Saturday.

That win will have given the Mumbai Indians a lot of confidence going into their next match, but Kings XI won't make it easy as they look to push themselves towards a playoff place, having won just four of their eight games so far.

"Mumbai Indians are a quality side and they have played really well in the tournament so far," Kings XI coach Darren Lehmann said. "We have to be at the top of our game to beat them and we have to have some good man-of-the-match performances."

The Wankhede pitch offered something for the seam bowlers in the last game, and Lehmann is banking on his bowlers to take full toll of any assistance.

"We saw the MI-RCB game and felt it was a good T20 wicket," Lehmann said. "Obviously it has a lot of bounce and carry in it.

"MI are a dangerous side to play at home and we will have to bowl well against them. Our strength is our bowling, so I expect us to bowl well."

Kings XI's batting has been a little inconsistent, however, with skipper Adam Gilchrist in particular failing to fire in IPL 2013.

"Our batting has been a bit of a worry," Lehmann observed. "But I have been impressed with the batting in the last few games. We played well against KKR in the previous game and got to 149 which we felt was defendable on that surface.

"Look, Gilchrist would like to get some runs under his belt, just like we all would like to. Gilly knows he has to make some runs, be it this game or the next game or the game after.

"Gilly has to come good soon. When a player is not scoring well, he is under scrutiny and it will be no different in Gilly's case. We will sit down and see if he is a part of our selection plans."
