Danica Patrick has already moved on from her former husband as she is dating fellow NASCAR driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr., but now the spilt is official, as her divorce with Paul Hospenthal has been finalized.

According to ESPN.com, the divorce is official after the 60-day waiting period following the filing in Superior Court of Arizona in Maricopa County and according to documents the marriage was "irretrievably broken" between the two, cited by Patrick. After the decree was signed the divorce became official and ended a process that began when Patrick announced on Facebook in November that the couple was splitting.

Soon after Patrick confirmer her relationship with Stenhouse and the two have been very active in social media and on the NASCAR circuit, including when they visited sites together in Las Vegas when the schedule was in Nevada. Patrick and Hospenthal had a prenup and the two agreed to no alimony and a property split. The move now could allow Patrick to marry Stenhouse if she chooses to do so.

Patrick has had an up and down season since winning the pole and leading Laps at the Daytona 500 and last week she got into a bit of an argument and feud with David Gilliand after some close driving. Patrick said over her radio that she was frustrated about how he drives when they are bunched and after the race he responded by saying "shut up and drive."

"I am sad to inform my fans that after 7 years, Paul and I have decided to amicably end our marriage," she wrote. "This isn't easy for either of us, but mutually it has come to this. He has been an important person and friend in my life and that's how we will remain moving forward."
