Danica Patrick has been having a rough season since her opening debut that saw her win the pole at the Daytona 500 and things did not get much better on Sunday in Kanas, as she got into it with fellow driver David Gilliland.

According to ESPN.com, Patrick did not like how Gilliland was driving on the track and said over her radio that he tries to take her out and that she may go after him during the race. Patrick did not do that and later on when he was told about the comments, he said: "Shut up and race."

"He tries to take me out every time," Patrick said over the team radio during the STP 400. "Tell his spotter that I'm coming after him if he does it again. In fact, I might just do it right now."

Patrick and Gilliland have raced along each other a number of times and Patrick finished 25th while Gilliland ended up in 23rd place at the event. Patrick was in the lead lap at one point but had to drop back for a pit stop and ended up two laps down after it when a piece of trash got caught on the grill of her car.

Matt Kenseth won at Kansas out of the pole over Kasey Kahne and it was the third straight week that the winner came from the pole after Jimmie Johnson did it two weeks ago and Kyle Busch did the same at Texas Motor Speedway.
