Two struggling teams -- Kings XI Punjab and Pune Warriors - will look to pick up some momentum in IPL 2013 when they face off in Mohali.
Kings XI were poor in their last game against the Sunrisers Hyderabad, and have lost three of the five matches in IPL 2013 so far, while Pune have flattered to deceive more often than not despite having a squad good enough to compete with the big boys.
The batting has been the biggest problem for Kings XI and David Hussey admitted the players needed to take up more responsibility.
"We're just not taking responsibility of our wickets," he told IPL's official website after their loss to the Sunrisers. "When you're four down with four overs to go, you think you'll post a big score but we keep getting out in poor ways.
"We've really got to learn and rectify that problem straight away, or it's going to be a very long tournament for us.
"No batsman from our team has yet scored a fifty and we have to change that very soon. We have the batsmen to do that. The way Adam Gilchrist batted (against the Sunrisers) I thought he's going to be one of our better batsmen going forward in the tournament."
The last time the Pune Warriors played, they capitulated against the Sunrisers when they had the game well in hand, with Amit Mishra picking up four wickets in five balls, which also included a hat-trick.
Pune Warriors captain Angelo Mathews, whose side have lost four of their six matches, is hoping for a turnaround.
"I thought we had the game till the last five overs. We got off to a brilliant start in the bowling but we choked up again," he said. "We got to be consistent to move on from here.
"It was disappointing to throw a game like this which was in our hand. But we have nine (actually ten) more games to turn things around."
