Two brothers were named as prime suspects in the Boston Marathon Bombing in Tamerlan and Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev from Chechnya. The suspect at large is 19-years-old and the two brothers led police on a chase through Watertown, leaving authorities to lockdown the area and the surrounding neighborhoods. The suspect is the man in the white hat in the photos released by the FBI on Thursday.

The suspect attempted to rob a 7-11 and then the brothers high jacked a Mercedes SUV and led police from Cambridge into Watertown where they had a firefight. One brother was dead from gunshot and explosive wounds, as reports say he had an explosive device on him when he was killed.

Police were searching door to door for the suspect, who is considered to be responsible for the Boston marathon bombing, which killed three people and injured hundreds more when two bombs were detonated at the finish line

The FBI released images and video of the two suspects on Thursday and quickly were able to find and identify the neighborhood where they live.  Police were still trying to piece together a possible motive for the Boston bombing and whether their Chechen background was the driving force or possibly other motives.

One attended Bunker hill community college studying engineering and fled Chechnya with family in early 90s. He was reportedly a golden glove boxer and was mentioned before the Boston marathon years ago in an AP story and was for over five years  in the US.

The 19-year-old held up a 7-11 and was seen on security footage at the location. All residents in the area have been told to stay in their homes after an MIT police officer was killed Thursday night in relation to the chase from authorities. Reports said that the officer was killed while waiting in his patrol car at point blank range and scorer transit officer was also injured from a gunshot wound.

Reports said that one of the suspects is holed up in a house in Watertown while another suspect was seen in custody and stripped by police to ensure he did not have any explosive devices.  One was also a student athlete of the year in 2011 in wrestling.
