Masters 2013 Weather Update: Rain Falling At Augusta National As Bubba Watson Struggles, Tiger Woods Starts Round Two at 1:41 PM ET

Rain is falling lightly on Augusta National as play continues on Friday and defending champion Bubba Watson has a lot of work to do, as he played a tough first round and finished three over past with a 75 as he tried to make it two majors in a row at the tournament.

The weather started coming down late on Thursday and is expected to continue on Friday, although delays are not expected. Watson struggled all day and did not look comfortable in his fifth Masters and it was his worst score in that span and his putter was not working all day as Sergio Garcia took the early lead, but he is already two back as day two rolls on.

Tiger Woods had a solid start by shooting a two under 70 and he has won the Masters three times after posting that score in the past and he would love nothing more than to add a fifth win here at Augusta. The TV coverage hits ESPN in the afternoon, while the Masters website has live streaming all day.

Phil Mickelson and Rory McIlroy started off solid on day one and both are already playing, while Woods hopefully will get some relief from the weather when it comes later in the afternoon. His girlfriend Lindsey Vonn was watching all day and she took some attention off her man throughout the round as people looked for her.

The left-handed Watson was solid from tee to green but had 35 putts in his round, among the highest totals from the opening round. Watson burst into tears when he attended his pre-tournament new conference on Tuesday as the memories of his win from last year came flooding back.

"I gave the jacket up two weeks ago when I was here, so nobody owns the jacket. Everybody is playing for it right now," he said.
