Mar 26, 2013 09:15 PM EDT

Tuesday is the final meeting between the Columbus Blue Jackets and the Vancouver Canucks. The teams have split the first two meetings, each with a score of 2-1. The Canucks are battling it out for first place in the Northwest Division as the race is set to come down to points. The Blue Jackets are making a final push at an attempt to get into the postseason. They are just one point back from entering into the eighth playoff spot.

Columbus is coming off a 12-game point streak which was a franchise record. The team was 8-0-3 during that stretch before losing to the Nashville Predators on Saturday. Goalie Sergei Bobrovsky had 1.34 goals-against average during the winning stretch until he gave up four goals on 11 shots to the Predators. He has stopped 71 of 73 shots in the two games against the Canucks this season. Columbus has struggled against the Canucks going 0-3-2 in recent seasons.

Vancouver is looking to win their fifth straight game. After being evicted from the top spot of the Northwest Division, the team is slowly creeping back in. The Wild still hold the lead in points so each win will be crucial for the Canucks. Cory Schneider has the hot glove in the goal right now. The goalie has won his last four starts, only giving up five goals in that stretch. He stopped 111 of 116 shots in four games.

Columbus will be without defenseman James Wisniewski who has a broken foot. Zack Kassian and David Booth are out for the Canucks with back and ankle injuries.
