Feb 11, 2013 03:24 PM EST

The news is out, Deron Williams will miss the next two games due to inflammation in both ankles. Chasing Tony Parker around in Sunday's help didn't do Williams any good. Now, the entire Twitter World is wondering, did Parker cause Williams' ankles to flare up?

Parker's 29- point and 11-assist performance in the San Antonio's Spurs victory over the Brooklyn Nets was pretty dominating. In his first visit to the Barclays Center, Parker didn't hesitate to play his best as the Spurs trumped the Nets 111-86 in what was a close game in the first half.

Parker proved unguardable and, though Williams had a decent game offensively, Parker simply did what he pleased Sunday night in Brooklyn.

As always, fans were quick to react. Even a tweet typed in Spanish made fun of the way Parker schooled one of the top point guards of the NBA.

The rest of the fans didn't hesitate to express their thoughts either and they immediately thought that Parker was the reason why Williams will be out for the next two games.

Nets fans, you can't even deny it. Williams looked subpar on Sunday and Parker, though 30, looked and played like the better guard that night.

The fans are unforgiving as they immediately associate Williams' ankle problems with Parker's quick moves to the basket which left Williams out of sight.

You can fast forward to these spots if you solely want to see Parker on the move: scroll to :16 seconds as he drives past Williams for the assist early in the game, 1:07 Parker destroys Williams with a crossover move to the left and then sinks the jumper and then 1:15 three seconds later the highlight reel shows Parker doing the exact same thing, but this time he lays it in.

Parker continues to be one of the best point guards in the league. Currently, the Spurs have the best record in the NBA as they are .5 games above the Oklahoma City Thunder for first place in the Western Conference.

Brooklyn is now in fifth place 6.5 games back of the Miami Heat in the East and are clinging on to the fifth seed in the conference.
