Seattle Seahawks and Chicago Bears Schedule: Start Time, TV Channel For NFC Game, Jay Cutler, Alshon Jeffery Out Week 3

The Seattle Seahawks and the Chicago Bears are playing on the NFL schedule on Sunday for Week 3 and the game is from CenturyLink Field in Washington. The start time for the game is at 4:25 pm ET and TV channel coverage will be live on CBS for the game, which will have Jay Cutler and Alshon Jeffery out.

The Seahawks come into the game at 0-2 on the season after losing to the Rams and the Packers over the first two weeks. The Seahawks have said they are not panicking about the start and head coach Pete Carroll said that the team is confident heading into Week 3. The game may have Marshawn Lynch on the sidelines, as Carroll announced that the running back will be a game time decision on Sunday.

The Bears have an uphill battle to win on Sunday, as they have to travel to Seattle and will play without Jay Cutler and Alshon Jeffery. The Bears are starting Jimmy Clausen in place of Cutler, while Marquess Wilson and Eddie Royal will have to step up for Jeffery. The Seahawks are the heavy favorites in this game and they should be able to get their first win of the season on Sunday, barring a big upset performance from Chicago.

Russell Wilson comes into the game with 457 yards and three touchdowns this season with two interceptions and he will try and get things going against the Bears. The Bears have not looked great over the first two weeks with losses to the Packers and the Cardinals and now they have the NFC champs in the Seahawks on the schedule.

Marshawn Lynch comes in as questionable for the game and he is a 50-50 go for the Seahawks while dealing with a calf injury. Fred Jackson likely would get an expanded role if Lynch can't go and Wilson could end up having to handle more of the load if Beast Mode is limited. The Seahawks will have Kam Chancellor back for the first time this season and that could be a huge boost for the defense after he held out for the first two weeks.

The secondary has not played great for the Seahawks and the combination of getting Chancellor back and Cutler being out could be a winning combination. The Seahawks come in with the Lions, Bengals, Panthers, 49ers and Cowboys next and that makes this game a must-win, as going down 0-3 could be very tough to come back from. After playing Dallas the team has the Cardinals, Niners, Steelers, Vikings, Ravens, Browns, Rams and Cardinals to end the season.
