Southampton vs. Stoke City Live Stream: Watch Online Streaming Capital One Cup League Match

Southampton and Stoke City are playing on the Capital One Cup fourth round schedule for the Football League Cup and the matchup from Britannia Stadium and the game is on at 3:45 pm ET and streaming live from beIn Sport online and the Premier League teams face off after matching up in EPL play already last week and this is a big chance for both sides in the competition.

Southampton has played very well to start the season and they have 19 points this year and are second behind Chelsea. The team has continued to play well and this weekend they have the chance to keep things going and they have a two point lead on Man City in third place. Stoke comes into things at number 12 on the table and they have 11 points on the season and so far they are tied on points with Hull City and Tottenham, who also plays in the Cap One Cup on Wednesday.

Stoke likely will be without Robert Huth and the two teams come in after the Saints won the matchup between these teams over the weekend and this is a big match for both sides. James Ward-Prowse and striker Jay Rodriguez are out and the team has had to deal with that for a while and now the two teams come in after four of the last five matchups have been draws with the two sides, although last Saturday Southampton won 1-0.

The Saints have scored in all of the last 11 games in trips to Stoke and Southampton has not been able to keep any clean sheets really, apart from two matches in 33 away games against Stoke over all leagues and tournaments. Stoke City is looking to get into the quarterfinals for the second straight season and they were beaten out by Man United last time around, while the Potters come in losing three of the last five League Cup games at the Stadium. Stoke has lost three of the last five games overall.

Southampton comes in winning eight of the last nine matches overall in all league games and they are looking to make it into the quarters in this competition for the first time in a decade. Southampton have only won two of the last 10 League Cup against teams from the EPL and that will make this matchup tough. Southampton has some tough matchups coming into the week and they have Man City on the EPL schedule soon and they also have Man United coming up.
