The Golden State Warriors and Miami Heat are playing on the NBA preseason schedule on Friday night and the matchup is from Kansas City in Missouri and they are just the center of the sports world now and it's at the Sprint Center at 8:30 pm ET as Dwyane Wade, Chris Bosh and Luol Deng matchup with Steph Curry and Klay Thompson in the exhibition game.

Miami comes into the game after losing to the Hawks in their last preseason game and the team also lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers in Rio and now they have this game before a rematch with the Spurs. The Heat are 0-4 in the preseason and while that doesn't mean much in terms of record, it's never a good sign to go through the first part of the year without a win. Wade and Bosh have not been playing deep minutes and that is one reason for the winless start.

Deng was the best signing of the offseason apart from LeBron James and he will help Miami replace some of that production. James led the team in scoring, assists and rebounds per game last season and now clearly there will be a new leader on the roster. Wade should have a bit of a reawakening after James left and Bosh too, as both players changed their styles to suit the best player in the world. Wade is older, but he is still a strong scorer and he will give up his body this season as he tries to bring his team back to the playoffs.

The Heat will have a challenge from the young Wizards in the division and after they won a playoff series last season, Washington will be a team to watch. The Warriors come into the game after a win over the Nuggets and they will play against the Houston Rockets next on the schedule. This is a matchup of defeated and undefeated teams, as the Warriors are 4-0 this season and they have high hopes with Steve Kerr coming in.
