The Fresno State Bulldogs and Boise State Broncos are playing live on the college football schedule on ESPN on Friday night and the matchup is from Bronco Stadium at 8 pm ET on the WatchESPN website online as the Mountain West Conference teams matchup and FSU quarterback Brian Burrell will try and lead his team on the road against BSU on the blue turf.

The Bulldogs come into the game after a loss against UNLV and that saw Burrell throw for over 300 yards in the overtime defeat and now they will try and bounce back against Boise. The team had won three straight games heading into the matchup with the Rebels and now they head to the blue turf and that will be a tough matchup for the Bulldogs. The team lost three straight to start the season before bouncing back and they won over San Diego State, New Mexico and Southern Utah before the UNLV game.

Fresno next plays against Wyoming and that leads into the San Jose State game before the team ends the season with Nevada and Hawaii. The team is ranked 55th in the nation in passing yards per game and they are ranked in the top 50 in rushing yards and they will be looking to attack the Boise State defense on Friday night. The two teams always play tough matchups and the game on Friday night should be no different, especially after the game Boise just played.

The Broncos and quarterback Grant Hedrick come in after winning over Nevada and that was a 51-46 shootout on the road that saw him toss for over 340 yards. This season the team has won four of five games and they are 2-1 in the conference and they are looking to bounce back after losing to Air Force two weeks ago. The team has the Bulldogs and then they have another tough matchup with BYU on the schedule. Boise comes in playing well in recent weeks apart from the Air Force loss, as they had won three games in a row before that.

The team lost Chris Peterson in the offseason and while he helped build the program, they are still successful and heading into the back stretch they should be a factor in this conference. The team has New Mexico and the San Diego State on the schedule after playing BYU and the matchup against the Aztecs is at home. The team finishes the season with Wyoming and then against Utah State after that.

The two teams have very good offensive units and this could turn into a shootout like last week for the Broncos, as they have the personnel to get it done. The team is ranked in the top 25 in the nation in passing yards per game and Hedrick could have a big game for the team.
