Seattle Seahawks Fantasy Projections: Russell Wilson, Marshawn Lynch and Golden Tate Stats and Draft Options, Percy Harvin Bust Pick At WR

The Seattle Seahawks are heading into the upcoming season with nothing short of Super Bowl expectations after winning a playoff game last season against the Washington Redskins and as Pete Carroll finishes out the preseason, the roster is filled with fantasy football All-Stars in Russell Wilson and Marshawn Lynch as well as Sidney Rice and Golden Tate.

Wilson ended up as the starting quarterback after beating out Matt Flynn in training camp and the preseason and now he is clearly solidified as the starter. Flynn was traded to the Oakland Raiders in the offseason and while Percy Harvin will be out until later in the year at least, Wilson is poised for a big season. Wilson had the entire offseason to work with the team and a full set of workouts in the summer and in training camp with the first team offense and things are already showing results, as he passed for 127 yards and two touchdowns while only missing on four of 12 passes. While Harvin will be out until at least November or December, Wilson is surrounded by a stellar supporting cast.

Last season Wilson threw for over 3,100 yards and completed over 64 percent of his passes, very impressive for a rookie and he also tied the rookie record with 26 touchdown passes, finishing alongside Peyton Manning's record. Wilson made some history of his own as well, setting the record for passing yards by a rookie in the playoffs with 385 yards. Wilson should be looked at as a starting quarterback option in most fantasy leagues, especially deep ones and while he doesn't run as much as Robert Griffin III does, he still put up solid numbers last season, rushing for nearly 500 yards and two scores as well. He should put up similar or better numbers this season after being more comfortable in the offense.

Lynch is simply a beast that seemingly cannot be stopped and he is a must-draft if you have the chance in any league. Last season Lynch rushed for 1,590 yards and 11 touchdowns on over 300 carries and he has consistently been one of the highest scoring players over the past few seasons. Lynch isn't much of a consistent threat out of the backfield, but he even still adds more value in PPR leagues after making 23 receptions for nearly 200 yards and two more touchdowns last season.

The team will take a hit with Percy Harvin set to miss most if not all of the season with a hip injury and while Sidney Rice is coming off surgery as well, all reports have said that it is not expected to be a lingering issue. Rice had 50 catches last season for 748 yards and seven touchdowns and Tate was second on the team with 45 catches for 688 yards and seven scores as well. The two should have improved numbers with Wilson developing and if Rice stays healthy he will be a consistent touchdown threat because of his size and speed.
