49ers Fantasy Football Predictions 2013: Colin Kaepernick, Frank Gore, Vernon Davis, Anquan Boldin Stats and Draft Advice For San Francisco

The San Francisco 49ers are heading into the 2013 season with Super Bowl aspirations and the team will have a number of players that are poised to put up big numbers and that could be welcome news for fantasy football owners, as Colin Kaepernick, Frank Gore, Vernon Davis, Anquan Boldin and the San Fran defense could be top performers this year.

Kaepernick will have a full offseason as the starter under his belt after taking the job from Alex Smith and leading the team to the Super Bowl and he will be helped along by names like Frank Gore and Vernon Davis. Anquan Boldin might put up some excellent numbers this season as he is the primary receiver now that Michael Crabtree went down with an injury. The 49ers can be one of the most consistent teams on offense in the league and Jim Harbaugh will likely do that again.

Last season the team ranked 23rd in passing yards per game, but that was with just a half season with Kaepernick. The team ranked fourth in the league in rushing yards per game and the defense was stellar up front and in the secondary, ranking fourth in passing yards and rushing yards per game last year. The team opens with big games against the Packers, Seahawks and Colts before playing the Rams and then they will play the Texans and Cardinals.

Here is a look at what these dudes can do this season:

Colin Kaepernick: the dual threat quarterback is a fantasy dream and while the team is dealing with some injuries, he will still put up big numbers. In only about a half season of work, Kaepernick threw for 1,814 yards and 10 scores while rushing for 415 yards and five touchdowns with a long of 50 yards. This season he should improve in both categories and that is mainly because he will have a full season of playing without worrying about Smith.

Frank Gore: the running back has had injury issues in the past, but last season he was fantastic and consistent, rushing for 1,214 yards and eight touchdowns. Gore will get the bulk of the carries again and with Kaepernick getting tons of attention, he could have another big year.

Anquan Boldin: With Crabtree out, Boldin will be the number one player on offense at the receiver position and after putting up 65 catches for 921 yards and four scores. Boldin looks like the steal of the offseason after the trade and with Kaepernick developing, the two could have a huge impact on each other.

Vernon Davis and the San Francisco Defense should also be prime performers.
