For Murray, the first two rounds have been a breeze. The No. 2 seeded player in Men's Singles has yet to drop a set after facing Benjamin Becker and Yen-Hsun Lu. In fact, he only had trouble putting away Lu in the third set of their match, a set Murray eventually won 7-5. Many believe Murray's chances of winning the tournament skyrocketed after Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal were eliminated from competition.
He will face Robredo, the No. 32 seed in the tournament. Similar to Murray, Robredo has yet to lose a set. He's had to put in plenty of work, however, as two of his three sets against Nicolas Mahut were decided in a tiebreak. Robredo has never won a grand slam title. He's made six grand slam quarterfinal appearances, but has never played beyond the third round at Wimbledon.
Robredo and Murray's head-to-head record is split, 2-2. The two haven't met since 2009 and Murray has won both of their last two meetings. The winner of this matchup will advance to the fourth round where they will face either Victor Troicki or Mikhail Youzhny (20).
