The Houston Texans are starting Brian Hoyer over Ryan Mallett at quarterback heading into Week 7, as head coach Bill O'Brien said that the team will "stick with" Hoyer. The Texans got strong performances from Arian Foster and DeAndre Hopkins in Week 6 and they are the best starter options for the team this week for fantasy owners.

Hoyer was named the starting quarterback over Ryan Mallett ahead of the game last week and now it appears he will have a chance to keep the job for the rest of the season. According to the Houston Chronicle, Aaron Wilson reports that head coach Bill O'Brien is going to continue to start Hoyer moving forward this season and it comes after Ryan Mallett struggled while starting, winning just one of his four starts.

The Texans are now 2-4 and play against the Miami Dolphins next and Hoyer comes in after playing against the Colts and Jaguars the past two weeks, outing up five touchdowns and just one interception. Hoyer had his best two games in the past two weeks, passing for over 290 yards in each contest and completing 77 percent and 66 percent of his passes in those games. The Texans have Arian Foster back and that has helped balance the offense and now Hoyer is moving forward as the starter and this season he has eight touchdowns and just two interceptions overall in four games.

Foster has been improving in each of the three games he has played since coming back from a groin injury and he had a season high 53 rushing yards on Sunday. Foster had five catches for 59 yards and had 100 total yards in the game against the Jaguars. Foster is starting to look like his usual self and he comes in with 104 rushing yards and 17 catches for 161 yards and one touchdown in three games this season. The team started Foster back slow in his first game with just 11 touches, but over the last two games Foster has been over 20 touches and that should continue moving forward.

DeAndre Hopkins has been having a monster season for the Texans and he is the best fantasy football start option for the team every week along with Foster. Hopkins had 10 catches for 148 yards and two touchdowns in the game on Sunday and this season he has 52 catches for 726 yards and five touchdowns in six games played. Fantasy owners have been thrilled with the production and the Texans have been giving Hopkins chances, as he has had at least 10 targets in every game this season for Houston.

The AFC South division is still pretty wide open after the Colts lost to the Patriots and the Texans could stay in the mix with a win against the Dolphins. Miami comes in after a dominating win against the Titans in Week 6 and the defense was strong with Cameron Wake contributing four sacks.
