Former NBA star Lamar Odom has been recovering after being hospitalized in Las Vegas and is breathing on his own after previously needing a breathing tube. Odom was found unconscious last week at a brothel in Nevada and according to CNN and other media reports, Odom is leaving Las Vegas and will continue recovering in Los Angeles.
Odom reportedly collapsed and went unconscious last week while at the Love Ranch brothel in Nevada. Odom allegedly was on an alcohol and drug binge while at the brothel and he was hospitalized last week and was not very responsive. Odom has been getting better and E! reports that he will soon be well enough to get moved to Los Angeles, where he will continue his recovery.
Odom's former college coach Jim Harrick spoke to CNN and said that Odom has made "a little bit of progress" after being found unconscious last week. The 35-year-old former NBA player reportedly still cannot stand on his own, but reports have Odom breathing on his own and using hand signals for communication.
CNN reports that Odom was able to speak and that his ex-wife Khloe Kardashian has been by his side while Odom has been in the hospital.
