English Premier League Table Standings: Chelsea Leads EPL Over Manchester United, Man City, Arsenal

The English Premier League table standings has Chelsea leading the EPL coming into Saturday and they are ahead of Manchester City, Manchester United, West Ham, Southampton and Arsenal in the Barclays and it comes after the Blues lost for the first time last week and now Jose Mourinho is looking to get his team back on track.

Chelsea came into the weekend tops in points as the highest scoring team in the league and they also have the best goal differential in the EPL. The team has a slight lead over Man City and they came in eight points clear of Manchester United, while West Ham is one points back of Wayne Rooney's squad. West Ham and Southampton are next in the standings, while Arsenal is three points back in sixth place ahead of Newcastle United, who plays against Chelsea.

The Gunners are in sixth place and behind Newcastle is Swansea City, while Liverpool is in ninth place and they are one point back of the Swans. The Reds have been up and down this season and they are in ninth place tied on points with Tottenham. Aston Villa is next in the standings ahead of Everton, while Stoke City is tied on points ahead of Sunderland.

The bottom part of the table has Crystal Palace tied on points with West Brom, while QPR is next in the standings. Hull City is next on the league table, while Burnley and Leicester City are in last place on the table. Chelsea has not lost at home this season and they had Hull City at Stamford Bridge, while Leicester City and Man City played an early match along with West Brom and Aston Villa.

The Sunday schedule has Manchester United and Liverpool playing at Old Trafford at 8:30 am ET and that will be the early match, while Swansea City and Tottenham play at 11 am ET. The Monday schedule has Everton and QPR as the final match of the week and no matter what happens, Chelsea will stay in first on the EPL table this week.

Chelsea comes in after a win in the Champions League this week and that came after the first loss of the season for the team on the EPL schedule. The team has been the best in the league this season and before that they won at home against Tottenham in a 3-0 victory. The Blues have Stoke City coming up along with West Ham and they also have Southampton and the Spurs during the holiday schedule. The FA Cup is up after that and the third round is against Watford.
