Fantasy Start or Sit Cardinals Chargers: Andre Ellington, Keenan Allen, Jonathan Dwyer, Ryan Mathews, Antonio Gates, Danny Woodhead Top Players

The Monday Night Football doubleheader has the San Diego Chargers and Arizona Cardinals in the second game and for fantasy football start or sit options, names like Andre Ellington, Keenan Allen, Jonathan Dwyer, Stepfan Taylor, Antonio Gates and Danny Woodhead are players to keep an eye on, as some are coming in injured and some could have big games on MNF.

Arizona Cardinals running back Andre Ellington could miss Monday night's game against the San Diego Chargers, forcing fantasy football owners to make some major decisions in Week 1, including whether to pick up Jonathan Dwyer and/or Stepfan Taylor while weighing the possibility that Ellington could miss multiple weeks with a foot injury that came up heading out of the preseason.

The San Diego Chargers are on Monday night football and some fantasy football players to start include Ryan Mathews, Danny Woodhead, Keenan Allen, Donald Brown, Ladarius Green as well as Malcom Floyd and Antonio Gates for Philip Rivers, as they will be taking on the Arizona Cardinals for the second game on MNF in Week 1.

Ellington comes into the season as a major sleeper option, but he has a foot injury and could be an option to start and the team is waiting until near kickoff to decide. Ellington had a foot problem in college and he has the chance to be a PPR star, as he had 39 catches last season to go along with 652 yards on the ground rushing. Dwyer is likely the first option over Stepfan Taylor and even if Ellington plays, he should get the bulk of the carries in the game against the Chargers.

Michael Floyd is another start option for the Cardinals, while Keenan Allen comes into the game as probable and he is a top WR start option for the Chargers. Last season Allen had a strong season and had 71 catches for 1046 yards and eight touchdowns and he will be expected to step up again. Woodhead and Donald Brown are the backs with Mathews and they are solid start options, especially in PPR leagues. The game between the Giants and Lions was all Detroit early and the late game could have some fireworks.
