Monday Night Football Schedule 2014: TV Start Time and Channel For Doubleheader Week 1 MNF Games

The 2014 Monday Night Football Schedule starts with two games on ESPN for a doubleheader and the first game on TV is the New York Giants visiting the Detroit Lions, while the San Diego Chargers and the Arizona Cardinals will play the late game to kick off the MNF season and end Week 1 after an exciting weekend of games on Sunday.

The Giants and the Lions have the first game of the season and that comes ahead of the Cardinals and Chargers in the second game. The opening matchup comes from Ford Field in Detroit, while the second game will be in Arizona and this comes as the MNF schedule picks up after the slate of games on Sunday. The second week has a solid matchup with the Colts and the Eagles and that is the second straight game at night for Indy and that will be an 8:30 pm ET kick off after the first game goes at 7:10 pm ET.

The Chicago Bears and NY Jets play in New York in Week 3 and that is a big matchup, while the fourth week of the season has the New England Patriots and Kansas City Chiefs. The Week 5 matchup has the Seattle Seahawks and the Washington Redskins on the schedule and that comes ahead of another strong matchup with the 49ers and the Rams. The schedule in Week 7 has the Texans and the Steelers in Pittsburgh, while the Washington Redskins and Dallas Cowboys will be in Week 8 of the season for an NFC East matchup.

The Giants have another Monday night game and that will be in Week 9 of the season and comes with the Colts coming to town and after that their rivals in the Eagles host the Panthers. The Steelers are back with a game against the Titans and the Ravens then play the Saints in Week 12 and Ray Rice will not be with the team, because he was released finally after video showed what he did to his wife and also how he lied to the Ravens and the NFL about what happened.

The Miami Dolphins and NY Jets are playing a classic MNF matchup, while the Falcons and Packers play in Week 14. The Saints and the Bears play in Week 15, while the Broncos and Bengals end the season in Week 16.
