The MLS All Star Game 2014 is live from Portland at Providence Park as the MLS All-Stars take on Bayern Munich and the game is live streaming on WatchESPN and on TV from ESPN2 starting up past 10 pm ET and now some top European players will play against the best of Major League Soccer ahead of their season starting later in the summer.

The Munich side has a number of players who just won the World Cup and they also have Julian Green after he played for the US side. Names like Thomas Mueller and Arjen Robben could be available along with Franck Ribery and Robert Lewandowski and that adds some big names to the lineup against the All-Stars. The Seattle Sounders and Sporting KC come into the All-star game as the top teams in the league and they are looking to keep that going and now the All-Stars play against Bayern Munich.

Bayern Munich has had a very strong year and on top of winning their hoe league in Bundesliga by a wide margin, the team also won the DFB-Pokal German Cup trophy. The team made it to the final four in the Champions League after winning the season before and they won the league title for the 24th time and they did it with nearly two months left on the league calendar, which is just insane. The MLS team with All-Stars has played against an international team 11 times and they are 7-3-1 in those games and now they are looking to add another win to that total on Wednesday night in Portland.

The MLS team has a number of strong names and some of those players were in the World Cup as well, including Michael Bradley, Clint Dempsey, Matt Besler and Graham Zusi and there are plenty of other big names on the team as well. Thierry Henry is familiar with many European teams and players, while Will Johnson, Erick Torres and Obafemi Martins are some of the other names along with Omar Gonzalez, Robbie Keane, Kyle Beckerman and DeAndre Yedlin as well as Tim Cahill, who both starred in the Cup and had fine performances there.

The conference standings this season has the Seattle Sounders and Sporting Kansas City as the top two teams and they are looking to keep those leads heading into the second half of the season. The Sounders are leading Real Salt Lake by a small margin after they have been playing some great ball, while the LA Galaxy are right there as well with Dallas. The East has Kansas City leading and they are just a couple points ahead of DC United and both those teams have big deals over Toronto, the New York Red Bulls and the Columbus Crew.
