NHL Playoffs Standings 2014: Montreal Canadiens Win Over Boston Bruins In 2 Overtimes For 1-0 Series

The NHL playoffs standings has the Montreal Canadiens up over the Boston Bruins 1-0 after winning Game 1 with a score of 4-3 and the win came in the second overtime after a goal from P.K. Subban and now the team is leading the second round series heading into Game 2 and the team now has won five games in a row and they stole one at TD Garden and now at worst they will return to Canada with a 1-1 series.

The Montreal Canadiens and Boston Bruins played a tough game and both tems had chances in overtime, but Carey Price ended up on top over Tuukka Rask and the two netminders had some amaznig saves, including Price on a slapshot from Brad Marchand that was pushed aside. P.K. Subban scored the winning goal in the matchup and it came on a power play and it was only seven seconds into the power play for the team and came four minutes into overtime.

Carey Price had a fantastic game with 48 saves, while Tuukka Rask had 29 saves in the matchup and now the Canadiens have the chance to steal two games in Boston. The Bruins dropped the first game of the series against the Detroit Red Wings and then won four games and now they will have to overcome that again.
